We’ll have a global intifada
Min Gaza illa Irlanda
La hureya wa a9dle
Allumni intifada
We’ll have a lot of intifadas from our fathers and daughters
We won’t totter when they shot us like the martyrs that taught us
So don’t bother to tighten the noose or lose collar
The tighter it gets the fighter spit gets harder
And we’ll holler louder and be heard farther
We’ll raise one voice that joins across water
When a Palestinian in Bel'in throws a rock
It clanks off American tanks in Iraq
And it drops in chicago on a ghetto cop
And ends up through the window of a Nike shop
But don’t stop and it plops to my Chiapas ladies
Senorita Zapatista toss it over to Haiti
Through Bolivia Colombia a rumbling volley
Through Africa and Asia rage on US proxies
All colonies of robbery and poverty living
Each are one bar of the imperial prison
One might feel free cause treats they’re given
But the jail still stands if one man still is in
But listen, the winds of change are hissing past
Instead of bars of the cage we’ll become bars on the staff
Each community a note in the freedom song
One harmonious chord a chorus so strong
Every puppet government of the empire puzzle
Piece by piece will cease into rubble
One by one or maybe all at once
It comes tumbling down and crumble into the dust
Then stand up, shake it off and move on
And prepare a new era to finally dawn
So think globally and act locally
Make the police see that our goal to be
To unfurl one world community
Beginning with resisting American hegemony
Shake off occupation
Shake off US domination
Shake off Western colonization
We’re ganna shake off the cops and wake up our nation
Shake off the cops and wake up our nation
We’ll have a global intifada
Min Basra ill Nicaragua
La hureya wa a9dle
Allumni intifada
Min Alexandra ill Alabama

Chorus:
You Can’t bomb a resistance out of existence
But you can bomb it into it (2X)
Fallujah
My eyes cry to drive through ya
You were hammered and clawed and sawed screwed ya
They shoot ya fulla holes like Swiss cheese or gouda
You insisted on resisting I raise my fist to ya
An unnatural disaster from the a master of pain
A hurricane of the tanks and planes
The big bombs rained, remains are blood stained
From the martyrs that watered the streets of slain
Fallujah
Strangled by checkpoints and buried in rubble
Kept in trouble
Confined and binned in Bush’s bubble
Occupation forces roll through the streets in tight groups
Shiite from the south, contractors, and US troops
Mob cowboy thugs raring blaring their guns
Boys in hummers and pickups having too much fun
Drive too close get blown away
Better pray and hope they’re not having a bad day
People look their way with despicable hate
Staring and glaring showing they’re irate
Well I aint surprised there’s hate in their eyes
When building supplies and food have tripled in price
And armed masked guys raiding houses at night
Shooting insulting and looting beating down rights
With sixty percent of homes crushed to the floor
It’s left them a shit load of stones to throw
Yeah it’s left them a shit load of stones to throw
CHORUS
Resistance
In self defense we’re relentless
Every action a reaction intense more each instance
So listen to the glistening fires and cats hissin
Its the war machine and people blow the piston
With pistils and rocks, AK Klashanokofs
They spanked the tanks as they clanked down the block
Sneaking round corners rocket launchers cocked
Sling shot stinging swinging like Ewoks
Tell me what choice to they got
When their boys have been shot
Do they have a voice or do they not
Should they be forced to let rot
What would you do if its your crew
Of course you would of fought
Just like they did
Native Fallujans in flaked grids
Blowing up hummers and clogging up tank treads
The only foreign fighters were American kids
Sent by politicians who are flipping their lids
We've got poor Arabs fighting back poor Latinos and blacks
While male fat rich whites sit back and laugh
And pray LA and chicago don’t copy cat
Imitate Fallujah launching counter-attacks
Just imagine if when the cops are rolling into the ghetto
They got showered by rocks and shot from the shadows
What will we do when there’re tanks in our streets with the cars?
Checkpoints and soldiers enforcing marshal law
Will we be like Fallujah will the people rise?
Or will we keep with our petitions and picket signs?
Pacifism is a privilege apathy is a crime
Wake up and smell oppression it's long passed time
That we join with poor people from the east and the south
And together we’ll bring this Empire down
Together we’ll bring the Empire down
CHORUS
From Fallujah to Jenin
Basra to Rafah
Kabul to Ochoa
Tehran to Uganda
Bolivia to Chiapas
DC to LA
Resistance is fertile it’s the empire’s grave
Resistance is fertile it’s the empire’s grave
CHORUS
You can’t bomb our resistance out of existence
But you can bomb us into it

Palestine is the story of genocide
Ripped out by the roots and scattered like ashes
Erased and replaced by white settler fascists
Disgraced labeled “terrorist” or was it
"Savage"?
Palestine is the story of genocide
Iraq is the story of occupation
Colonial carnival, parasitical barnacle
Teeth sinking blood sucking conquering chronicle
Fallujah to Basra, or was it
Nicaragua?
Iraq is the story of occupation
America is the story of occupational genocide
Ancient villages clear-cut like old growth forests
See the massacres and slavery that be before us
From the rez to the ghetto
From the jail to the barrio
See how far we can go to grow and grow America
Or was it Rome?
America is the story of empire
And we now how that story ends
Iraq to Philistine
New York to New Orleans
You see we are the story of resistance
Indigenous existence
Autonomous persistence
As the distant sun glistens
We are rising
No more compromising with genocide
No more tolerating occupation
No more sign-holding, sidewalk-marching, letter-writing, petition-pushing passively pathetic pretense of protest
We are rising b
Is it
America or Algeria?
Iraq or Vietnam?
Philistine or Philippines?
We are rising
Refugees will be returning
Reparations will be churning
As the bourgeoisie is burning
We are the story of resistance
We are the story of resistance
So listen this is prince’s kiss wake up and raise your fist
Resist happily ever after

I’m a middle class white came up in the suburbs
KC, MO with well-stocked cupboards
Catholic mother and father loving service of others
Republicans but pullover for another
I first met oppression in primary school
I was hated alienated and the kids were cruel
As grooved to the tune of a different flute
I was insulted and assaulted but was seldomly mute
My schools were half black and I noticed the difference
In disciplining of the children and the tracking system
I hit on all the girls while spitting feminism
Had the vision activism purpose for living
Evergreen State College nestled deep in the foliage
I found corporate fascism and knowledge of privilege
Eco villages, puppets and sustainable farms
My study groups - Earth First, Food not Bombs
But with white hippy punks, I got bored
And wished to challenge all the privileges with which I was born
So I decided I was ready for a heavier course
And enrolled in the school of revolt the third world
I’m a student in revolution
I’m a student in revolution
Came from the burbs gotta raise the curve
I am a student in revolution
I took a quick field trip to the Gaza Strip
Mission ISM begin flipping me tips
I gotta grip of occupation and colonial killers
Lessons in resistance popular and guerilla
I was filled with respect my instructors with guns
Never slept as they kept the tanks on the run
As we crept to the houses that were shot-at for fun
I faced fear as the rest of my test had begun
Mortality fatality pop quiz in reality
A fellow student stood and was brought down gallantly
I saw her go under in a thunder of her dignity
And learned death burns but its only the beginning
One month later sniper took another schoolmate
And I checked C and turned in my test to be graded
Took leave to grieve and not become jaded
Concentrated making my heart educated
I’m a student in revolution
I’m a student in revolution
Gotta burst my zones, a lot hurt to grow
I am a student in revolution
I applied to Palestine for a second semester
Was accepted to Tuwani, taught me got me to question
How the East is being replaced by West
Settlements represent western conquest
I’s blessed to chill in the villages still left
Roots planted firm ancient protest
The shepards and their herds and kids go to learn
Farmers and their fields and the butter to churn
The sun burns in the dessert and the seasons turn
Indigenous existence is resistance this I discerned
I’m a student in revolution
I am a student in revolution
Indigenous text from East to West
I am a student in revolution
Third Semester to Palestine I applied
Was denied, the lord of the border did decide
It was a lesson in fascism and border locks fastened
Imperial castles with moats so impassible
But no hassle, there’re other classes to be took
Other places to look and occupations of crooks
Booked to Iraq the dock in the colonial brook
So I studied abroad Babylon text book
It was a course in war and armed struggle that roars
Depression isolation and fear with locked doors
Division blurred vision what fight is for
Muppet puppet whores and mob, crime lords
It was more complex than I’d thought to expect
Resistance kids were mixing with the terrorist threat
I did get that despite the divisive climate
The fish are still fitter than the fisherman’s net
I’m a student in revolution
I’m a student in revolution
Despite division the fight still living
I’m a student in revolution
I got a new last name changed to pass
Got my ass back to Philistine fast
For another look at struggle with the knuckles of brass
And to stand with the masses being beaten and gassed
I found people united, excited and fighting
I found people divided, too tried and frightened
Gaza life’s brightened but the cage is tightened
And the PA’s paving the way for Apartheid
And it appeared so clear that my role is here
Spreading fever fervor in the emperor’s ear
I hold dear, the lessons I was blessed to adhere
In the intifada Honda I was taught to steer
I’m a student in revolution
I am a student in revolution
I’ve passed some classes but I’m far from masters
I am a student in revolution
I’m a student in revolution
I am a student in revolution
I’ve got a lot to learn about what to burn
I am a student in revolution
I’ll be back in the US for awhile, my almamater
To apply some of the lessons I learned about resistance, insurgency, and struggle
I am anticipating my final upcoming final exam

The war on Palestine unwinded in 48
With western designs
to make a Jewish state
Another proxy puppet for their empire plans
Keep the Arabs fighting Jews and land in white hands
Palestinians always resisted colonization
So Israel dolls out western domination
But Palestine’s patient firm determination
It’s a perpetual fight till they perfect liberation
Now the wheels of oppression go round and round
From colony to colony through settler towns
We’re bound to be complicit with government thieves
New York to London, Yerushaliem to Tel Aviv
Its time to push the casualties on the other side
Too many Palestinian women and men died
Ears burst from the words of the occupied
Its what you get when you settle petal genocide?
Now I keep in mind clear fear Jews are drinkin
They barely escaped the jaws of extinction
But do you think apartheid will brought right friends?
Or are Jews being used by an empire again
And Palestinians depend on continuing resisting
Oppressors are oppressors Buddhist Jewish or Christian
So all you Israelis fussin, its time for justice
End the occupation or stay off of the busses
Chorus:
Boom Boom
The bus goes boom
Another freedom fighter igniting the monsoon
Boom Boom
The tank goes boom
Driving by a home-made mine it mushrooms
Boom Boom
The jeep goes boom
Pipe bombs Molotovs go zoom
Boom Boom
Cop car goes boom
Another imperial pawn dawns their doom
Iraqis are cocking
They’re tired of talking
Their loaded and locking
They’ll bite no more barking
They’ll fight like gorillas no cage too tight
Keep colonial forces in the crosshairs of their sites
They won’t be fooled constitutions and voting
Keep the guards on guard and cars exploding
No puppet president will stop their war
They’ve been fighting occupation 100 years or more
If Bush things he’ll win he’s got a lesson in store
He thought he’d kick a cat and found a lion that roars
Now I know US soldiers are just poor kids
Wanting school, job training and health benefits
It’s shit Bush pushes the babies in harms way
But it doesn’t change Iraqis’ right to blow them away
I don’t like death seen it with my eyes
But Iraqi freedom means Americans must die
And I say better us than them at this point in the struggle
Before we steal all the oil and leave them nothing but rubble
Lets fire the empire once and for all
And don't ball that those holding it up must all fall
I say to all you mommies
With kids in the army
Convince them to quit or start writing their eulogy
CHORUS
No one likes violence
No one likes gore
People want peace but they fight when they're forced
So lets look who started it to profit of war
And lets carve the imperial apple from its core
If you hate seeing Palestine being erased
Or Israelis dying daily from their medicine tastes
If you don’t like Iraqi life and liberty losses
Or America’s own flown home in boxes
Then its time to get busy and bring the fight west
The belly of the beast where oppression digests
Welcome to America occupied
Built on the backs of blacks and native genocide
We have our own freedom fighters right in front of our eyes
That’s why our prisons are full and cops militarized
And they don’t appreciate the left’s passivity
Meetings and speakers and beaker inactivity
Cause sidewalk signs never stopped a war
Nor free the ghetto or native land restored
It's a fact nonviolence is a practical tactic
When compacted with militancy can be effective
But don't expect shit to change until there’s flames and gats
Riots, rebellion and economic collapse
If this song sounds wrong and you’re highly offended
Your probly powered by your privilege and you don’t want it ended
Or you say you do but don’t approve a violent clash
But I notice most you pacifists are white middle class
You'll change your tone fast when they’re tanks on your beat
You'll wake up and rise up or end up under our feet
From the desert to the street the heat be meeting defeat
No retreat we don’t fear it and I can’t wait to hear it go
Boom
From the desert to the street the heat be meeting defeat
No retreat we don’t fear it and I can’t wait to hear it go

In the Congo
The black light shines
In the middle of the day
Women dance in layers
Of peacock colors
And the young men
In mismatched military
Take-those-offs
Carry their gun by the barrel
Over the shoulders
Whistling Dixie
The U.N. people
Stay in their trucks
Black insults
Thrown too much
To walk into
The blazing fires
Of their personal hell
The air is hollow outside
America is having nightmares
Bared
Shared with the world
I dare myself to cry
But the tear drops
Are frozen by the leer
Of another man
Thousands of women
Are telling stories
To thousands of women
Creating survivors
Out of the flesh and bone
Skeletons are buried
In mounds
Underneath flexible trees
And when they ask me
Where I am from
I reply
America
In America
It is red white and blue
American Pie the DVD series
And snow
The heart of darkness
Recedes into the night sky
Mythology
Of a Congo
In chains
And slave
Gangs with no name
In shame with no money
Can't destroy the game
So the game is forgotten
Can't name the life
That you've bought in
That's what its like to be dark
In light of the logic of economics
The trauma that is rotting
The trauma that is cutting
The necks of rape survivors
Pregnant and bartered
We've fallen into oblivion
Never reciting
The deaths of these martyrs
The innocent mothers
Street children quartered
In war
Every language knows
The difference between women
And whore
So what do these women
Call themselves
The same as they called me
Sister
Mama
Messenger
In the Congo
The U.S. buys men
And women
And plays war with itself
In America
We tune out the world
By turning on the news
We could choose to refuse
The good news
That somebody's war
Is our gain
Our reign on this earth
And the 4th world
Will emerge like herds
Of gazelles running
Through the hills
Of the u.s. dollar bill
Militias territorial hell
Who are gangbanging
Women to prove
They have something
To spill
In the 4th world
Tupac is born hundreds
Of times day
And he prays to his mama
Not the voice
Of the voiceless
But of the choices
To enjoy life even when
She's loaded with 50 kg
Of manoc and groceries
Women who
Look like the women who hold me
Through the tears
That I'm hiding
In my dreams
The Congo is wider
Than an equatorial
Bird's wings
Soaring over diamond
Petal flowers
And gold studded trees
Richer than mahogany
Feet stomping
Out a drum beat
and the women survivors
Are dancing with their children
Singing for amani
That leaves them breathless
Rather than helpless
With the bones of the deathless
They are building
A civil society
In my dreams
Blinded by
The cover of a war
That we created
But we still refuse
To see
In the Congo
In America
In the beauty
Of a rape survivor's
Dream

all I ever needed, man
was an olive tree with a branch in the shape of a Y
cut it off
shape that shit right
take the rubber from a soccer ball,
lash it on tight
place a rock against the rubber
pray
bless it with flight
I'm
like children with stones
living a lone existence with no rest
or respite from the pressure to fight
listen:
call me Slingshot
Hip-Hop
sing for your freedom, shake it off
Intifada 'till they bring you your freedom
through Jerusalem's gates flown
over walls & gravestones
containing brave souls that should've stayed home
it's the same song:
days are long when your babies are gone
I hear you crying to the night mama try & be strong
You can lean against your Bible or your Holy Qur'an
or just place your faith in these poems & you
can never go wrong either way:
the way to heaven ain't with weapons
or bombs strapped to your chest an alarm
set to your death, blasting you off like their
Kalashnikovs right there
is the issue:
you kill that makes you just like them, now is you?
and what about the family that'll miss you?
answer the question, yo
Salaam always follows a calm so stop stressing so
press your foe to the wall
leave an impression
meshing your hopes with aggression lessen
your anger and pain:
find the peace within yourself to bring the same to the plains
hills and valleys of death
bloody foam in the ocean
lines at checkpoints extending to gates
that won't open
your fate's been fore-chosen so you wait for the end
dangerous men playing pretend like masters
and slaves that shit it backwards

That son of Mary,
valiant revolutionary
So very scary
To those reliant on the compliance of the Weak, poor and weary
So Roman hammers, Roman nails, Roman shovels buried
While the Pharisees, there to see the people agreed for the moment
Puppet Hebrews who’s strings were used by The Ominous Romans
They crucified the messiah
As an insurgent against their Empire
And then excused the soldiers and blamed the Jews
For the entire
Now watch us
Hide our eyes and wash our hands
Like Paunches
Ignoring the Palestinian pain
And all the Israeli slain
Done in our name for our Imperial gains
Done with our money, our guns tanks and planes
Five billion a year, yes we hold the reins
So the black gold will flow
Drained from the land
And our Israel Sparta’s at the heart of our sensational plan of
Domination, occupation, annexation, exploitation of that ancient holy sand
So Emperor Sam and Prime Minister Pharisee
There to see our Arab family is nailed to a tree
So we can have three SUVs
And the TV blares a twist that they are terrorists
Because they dared to insist that they too should be free
Yes they too, must be free
We will see that no peace will stand until we understand
We cannot simply wash our hands
“Out, out damn spot!”
But go out it cannot
And though we don’t look, that blood’s in our check books
Spilled on our dollar bills
The third world’s filled with blood of green
The third world’s filled with blood of black
Oil, coffee, you name it we claim it
And arrange it to be shipped and flown to us
While we gypped and torn and pillaged indigenous villages
Our privilege to start our engines run on Arab blood
Driving over the Ingins while their trails of tears flood
While our Middle East contingent of Arabs and Jews
Bought off to shine our shoes while they’re people lose
While they’re people lose
And who’s cruise does it buy?
Do we refuse to see that log in our eye?
Oh my
I cry
And you buy
Their lies
While She dies
And he fries
Yes Kiss them goodbye
Missiles fly from Ballistic skies
And Semites left and right
Are Imperialistically
Crucified
I first saw ya in the ISM office in Ramallah
Red black and green bracelet and your necklace Handalla
Our eyes met and you smiled and I melted to butter
I floated from the meeting in thunder struck wonder
That evening in Al Quds you slipped your hand into mine
All the mess of stress and busyness left behind
As we lied spying Mediterranean sky I
Realized I’m surviving with you by my side
We'll fight for eachother not with eachother
Alongside eachother, comrades and lovers
Solidarity in the struggle up under the covers
And a shoulder to cry on when we’re beholding the rubble
We’ll cuddle, behind the barricades and kissin
Take your aim at the system I pass you ammunition
We’re AK-OK, assistants in resistance
And we’ll watch it all fall as the sun sets in the distance
CHORUS:
Days of war and nights of love
I see you on the battle field and think only of
Being in your arms and seeing stars above
In the day we fight the struggle at night we’re snuggle bugs
I met you in Palestine, I met you in Iraq
I met you in Seattle battling with the cops
I met you in a tree-sit and at food not bombs
I met you and I had to get you into my arms
Organic farms, planting the seeds of revolution
You and me, feeling so free up on the cushion
But no pushing, or pressuring, shoving no stress
It’s all consensual loving I get off on verbal yes
I’m feminist, I protest manipulated sex
It aint gotta be serious but it mustn’t oppress
Best protected, with no gender discrimination
Polyamory is bomb with honest communication
I’m ordained to the struggle like a man of the cloth
A rebel soldier in my gear and when I take it off
Fuck “mackdivism”, “manarchism” macho dickheads
You can’t beat it in the street and then repeat it in bed
CHORUS
You’re my princess and shining armored knight
We fight imperial dragons while you smile so bright
Your so rough with the cops but soft with me
A lilac in the sack but like rock in the street
But you don’t take my shit
When I’m a patriarchal prick
You gently re-direct me and don’t let me forget
That respect, and love is what we’re fighting for
New world in store must start before
I see in you the hope that is keeping going
I let go of being anti and decide to be pro
And I am proud of the crowd standing in my row
And I know in revolt, I won’t be alone
In revolt, I won’t be alone
You and me baby, we’re like the who arms of a slingshot
And our love is the rock
The firmer we stand, the farther it goes
We’re like the two barrels of a shotgun
Blasting out truth
I just imagine marching arm in arm with you in the street, like walking down the isle
I see your smile and forget the cops
We’re two spots on the kafia
A9dle wa Hureya (Justice and Freedom)
Up in here
You and me
We’re peace and justice will kiss
We’re two fingers of a fist
Two names on the government hit list
Like two splifs swiftly twisted
So come give me a kiss
I can’t resist your resistance
So far from the prison they’ll be two bars missin
We’ll see two arms risen with fists

We once lived in tribes
In peace and unified
Surviving off of what abundant earth could provide
But some weren’t satisfied
They started conquering folks
Implemented governments to oppress and control
Built up empires based on power and greed
Now a few live in excess and the rest are in need
But they found bribing some and beating others couldn’t succeed
They needed hate to separate and some fear to feed
See we’re inclined to be kind and act from the heart
So they devised new systems to keep us apart
They invented class, invented race, gender and religion
With precision, they conquer though division
Chorus:
Divide and Conquer
Separate and control
Keep us fighting each other
Every Empire’s goal
Don’t look behind the curtain
Don’t follow the strings
Keep us fighting the symptoms
While they spread the disease
Western colonists erased the tribal way of life
Invented states to separate by artificial lines
Warring tribes grouped together to destabilize
Pitt the natives on eachother keep enemy disguised
Now there’s genocide, and intertribal war
Postcolonial Rwanda, Uganda and Darfur
The west looks on in impotence like “what can we do?”
When it was us who painted hate between Tootsie and Hutu
It was us who persecuted Jews and made them insecure
And now our puppet state of Israel our dominance ensures
US occupation Middle East to make the oil flow
Keep the Arabs fighting Jews or other Arabs, PLO
Keep the Sunni fighting Shiite and the Christians and Kurds
An unstable Iraq, resistance cracked fractured
Meanwhile Europeans bicker over tariffs and cows
And progressive movements split "who’s more radical than thou?"
Green or democrat, liberal or anarchist
Vegetarian or vegan, militant or pacifist
Go down the list of shit that keeps us fractured and frail
While the cops watch and laugh as we our movement derail
Never fails to topple the struggle from within
We crumble because we couldn’t blend
Chorus
The peace movement’s racist
Anti-racist groups are sexist
Labor’s homophobic
Gay-rights groups are classist
Environmentalists fight natives
And the natives and blacks
Mexicans and Koreans, Asian Arab attacks
It's misplaced aggression, anger and rage
They misdirect our attention to fellow rats in our cage
And well-intentioned white liberals wanting to do something
Repeat cycles of oppression that are worse than doing nothing
It’s a tenuous role to try and join with the oppressed
We divide the revolution behaving imperialist
Lets build a movement that is based in liberation for all
One by one they pick us off, divided we fall
Let’s break the concrete from the walls and let’s build bridges
Pickup the pieces from all our shattered hopes and build wishes
Ingredients are bland but the dish is delicious
Let’s be swimming in schools of flanked fishes
Let’s unite and fight our enemy’s in sight
We share a common plight
Take my hand and hold it tight
In the street, our feet, will beat them to retreat
People united, we’ll never be defeated (5X)
Don’t let them divide and conquer separate and control
Lets band together and make the empire fall
Lets look behind the curtain
Lets follow the strings
No more fighting the symptoms lets kill the disease
Smash the system cause it’s the disease
